Attending the University Photographers Association of America Symposium in Provo and Salt Lake City, Utah and then the lighting workshop at the Bonneville Salt Flats in Utah was a transformative experience for me as a photographer and videographer. Learning about lighting from, Joe McNally, a renowned photographer during this workshop was particularly impactful; it shifted my understanding of how to use light to enhance the mood and depth of my images. The chance to connect with and learn from other passionate photographers and videographers in such an inspiring setting completely revitalized my approach to photography and filmmaking. Here are some of my photos from that photoshoot in June, 2024.

In early October, I had the chance to go on the inspiring Farming for Freedom Trail tour of local farms. “The Farming for Freedom Trail is a farm trail that links farmers of color to each other in an agritourism web.” www.farmingforfreedomtrail.org
